During a tour with a prominent private school, I learned Kindergarten students were required to read upon acceptance. Immediately after the tour I knew that I wanted to create something to help children learn to read early. At four years old my daughter could read and at two-years-old my son could identify his alphabets, phonetic sounds and over a dozen site words.
I use this book and companion cartoon in my childcare program. Children and parents love it because they have witnessed the improvement with reading, phonics, and letter identification in their children.
